Designed for high volume assembly of boards with many heatsinks.

The drawer assembly allows convenient access to:

  • Load the PCB
  • Apply thermal adhesive
  • Accurately locate the heat sinks
  • When the drawer is closed it is locked in position by a pneumatic actuator
  • Twin start buttons allow the top plate to lower allowing any number of weights to pre-load each individual heat sink
  • A timer prevents the drawer from being opened until the preset adhesive curing time has been reached
